Another Free VOIP

Today I'm gonna review another VOIP product in the market. Mediaring Talk has been in the market for more then 10 years, and it has been giving out free calls to mobile/landlines for these 8 countries; Australina, China, Canada, Singapore, UK, Taiwan, Hong Kong and the United States.

Although I always welcome free services provided by these VOIP companies, I would say that they are only providing mediocre calls to your friends at these 8 countries. Moreover, if the Internet traffic is high at your region, the chances of you getting through to your friends are almost less then 5%. So I always use these service during midnight where Internet traffic in my region is not high.

Even though they provide calls to the mobile/landlines of the above said 8 countries, the call quality is not as good as the one I'm using now. Go check if this service fits you.

P/S: Pfingo is now giving another 30% for every S$20 credit purchase.

Free VOIP

I've been using a few VOIP for quite sometime now, but which is the best choice? Skype, Googletalk? I would say Pfingo. Wholly own by Singapore's Starhub, the service is superb. Charges are not as expensive as Skype and if you sign up now, you'll get free SGD$ 3.00 to make calls to mobilephones and landlines around the world. Pfingo also comes with a mobile edition which you can connect via 3G and WiFi.

Head over to their website and check it out.

Free WiFi Access In Kuala Lumpur

It seems that nowadays, people's lives revolves around the Internet. Companies are earning record profits every year. Its very rare that some companies are still giving free Internet access nowadays.

I happened to stumble upon this free service by chance. Its provided by DBKL and MCMC. They are now providing free WiFi access for 2 years as reported in Chinapress. The speed provided is at a humble 512Kbps and they have very limited coverage at the moment.

Go check out their website and get yourself a free access account. You won't loose anything.

Malaysia Airlines is giving away 1 million seats for domestic flights. Terms and conditions applies.
Normally, nothing is really free in this world. Even though the tickets are free, but you'll have to pay for fuel surcharge and administration fees. So it might costs about 200-300 ringgit per free ticket.

Hurry up if you do not want to miss this offer. Booking ends on the 19th May. Online only.

Money, anyone?

A lot of people are earning money online. How true can that be? Maybe this concept is still not widely acceptable in the Malaysia's society, for most of us believes that there are no free lunch in this world. Adsense, adsbrite, nuffnang are just some of those that are paying real money to people who serves its purpose, mainly advertising. Companies are paying these advertisers millions of dollars have their ads display to the visitors of the site.

Locally, the number of Internet users are growing by the day. I did have an Adsense account, but over the course of 3yrs, I've only amassed 15 USD. Its nothing compared to those who are raking in thousands of dollars per month. So is it possible for an average guy like me to earn money like those we saw online? I don't know, but I'm gonna try and worked towards achieving those figures that I'd saw online. Legally, of course.

Of course, its not gonna be easy, even high earners doesn't get paid thousands of dollars per month from there start.

So this site is going to document my journal on earning money online in a Malaysian's perspective. And hope that people who stumble upon this site can share their thoughts and views on earning a living online as a Malaysian. Be it positive or negative.
